Primes, by Michael Scharrer, rendered with POV-Ray. Spheres arranged in a spiral and colored according to their index. Prime numbers are indicated by very dark black spheres and the colors in version 2 depend on the number of prime factors. The extreme dark effect of the prime spheres is caused by negative color values. There is a newer version availible. This is version 1 out of 2.
