Energy Pulse - v1

Energy Pulse, by Michael Scharrer, rendered with POV-Ray. An energy pulse moving through space near the speed of light. The pulse is realized as a volumetric media object based on POV-Ray's marble pattern, though it looks nothing like marble in the final result. This really demonstrates the power of POV-Ray's built-in patterns types. Note: This is a work of art and has nothing to do with actual Physics. There is a newer version availible.
